Meet the Pastor
Hello, I'm Reverend Jeormey A. Howard. I'm a Minister of the word of Sacrament currently serving the First Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, NY., since October 2017. I am also serving at Hopewell Presbyterian since February 2022.
I'm married to Kristen since July 2010, whom we met at the First Presbyterian Church of Great Falls Montana where she grew up.
Together we have one daugher, Zoe and one son, Seamus. I was born and raised in Oklahoma and is a graduate of of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Applied Sociology. I have earn my Masters of Divinity and Masters of Practical Theology in Pastoral Care from Colombia Theology Seminary in Decatur, GA and am currently working on my Doctorate of Ministry in Recovery Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
I served as an Officer in the United States Air Force before answering the call to ministry and am currently active in various Veteran's organizations. I also serve my community as part of the Montgomery Fire Department as a Firefighter as well as a Fire Chaplain.
I'm active in the Hudson River Presbytery as part of the Committee on Ministry. I also am currently serving the PCUSA as part of the Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy and a member of the Presbytery Mission Agency Board.
